Cosentino has implemented Cisco Umbrella to provide cloud security for 100% of its users both on and off the network. Umbrella combines multiple, cloud-based security functions into one solution to extend data protection to devices, remote users, and distributed locations.

Integrated networking and security
Cisco has allowed Cosentino to consolidate multiple, disparate security technologies into a unified solution for consistent protection and simplified management. “Connecting Meraki to Umbrella took just two clicks,” said Zengin. “This isn’t the same with other solutions.” The Cisco integration is imperative for Cosentino’s goal of standardizing security across its offices to make sure they are all safeguarded with the same rules and policies.
Meraki and Umbrella also serve as crucial components in Cosentino’s transition to secure access service edge (SASE) architecture. SASE converges security and networking into a single, cloud-delivered service to enable access to applications from anywhere users work.
